Pest control. Anything off the shelf just moves them but if you try something before calling pest control don’t worry with it they can’t find the nest just a waste of money at that point

Free chicken food. But if you really want them gone asap & know where there coming from, pour HOT water down the hole. ALSO, Cream of Wheat – Dry straight from the box. Sprinkle it around. When the ants eat the Cream of Wheat, It will expand in their body’s & the ant will die.

We had TONS of tiny ants. My girls didnt even notice them. So I got some bantams that wipe them out!

Pour boiling water in the mound. If they are red ants, keep them. They are endangered and are a major source of food for endangered Horned Toads. If they are fire ants… light ‘em up!!! ????????????

They’re not fire ants…just regular black ants. I have some huge mounds around the yard and want them gone. The chickens don’t really seem to go for them.

We actually used a chicken to get rid of some ants, we caged her in the area a nest of carpenter ants were. They were too close to the house, worked great! Just curious, do the ants seem to be a problem? The chickens should eat them.

DE worked for me on ants. It’s cheap and it’s not toxic. Also consider leaving them alone. They were entering our home at alarming rates so we needed to handle it.
