I don’t bring eggs broken like this into the house. There will be more eggs. It isn’t worth the risk

I’ve never had any issues with the chickens eating them and I scramble them up within a day and keep in fridge till then. They eat bugs and dirt

I scramble and give back to the chickens. If it’s just a small crack then I eat them ASAP but those are deep.

I have been raising chickens for eggs and meat for well over 25 years! I am a certified small farm. They are absolutely fine to eat as long as they are not old and they are cooked correctly!!

Experience is the best Teacher!!! After raising chickens – and selling eggs for 23 years. My wife & I have discovered that refrigerated eggs win – hands down. Those left on your counter-top will last for about 7 days. If your egg floats, it is no longer edible. On the other hand: eggs stored in a refrigerator should last for 4 months from the day you put them in a cold environment.

To begin with, We live in Rural South Carolina. Today is 88 degrees outdoors. But make no mistake, The air conditioner isset to 70 degrees. mice don’t poke holes in eggs. Your Chickens do!!! Try putting a few golf balls in your nesting boxes.I’m not sure what state you live in. But I’ve had the same experience with chickens in Ct. those birds lived in a doghouse with much snow on the ground. Best Wishes………

They are good. Used to be sold cheaper at the egg farms. We were poor with 5 children when I was a small child. None of us ever got sick. They were called cracked eggs and they even sold softshelled eggs with unbroken membranes. Of course you couldn’t store them long.

You need to find out who the egg eater is and stop it before they teach others. I personally wouldn’t chance it and just scramble and feed back to them.
